Your education comes first! Just give us the courtesy of committing to the days that you sign up for each week. You have the freedom to commit to each day based upon your availability. We only ask that you provide your days of availability the week before so we can schedule the appropriate amount of work in a timely way.

Hours & Pay
Part time position between 16-32 hrs per wk. Pay range $10-$15 per hr. Starting pay of $10 per hr for no-experience trainee for the first 2-wk pay period. If you decide to continue with us after two weeks of training, you will then be bumped to $11 per hr. Various incremental pay raises based upon performance.

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age to perform all responsibilities required for working on a 2-story home

Limited opportunities are available for ages 14-15 during summer months when school is not in session. (Lone Star Window Cleaning adheres to the legal requirements as outlined by the Texas Workforce Commission regarding Child Labor Laws i.e. no ladder work, no work when school is in session, etc.)

Must have reliable transportation to and from various job sites around the North side of Dallas Metroplex (North Dallas, Richardson, Plano, Allen, Fairview, Lucas, McKinney, Frisco)

Must be willing to work on 3-step ladders and full length ladders reaching 2nd story (restrictions apply for underage (14-15 yr old) employees based on the rules outlined by the Texas Workforce Commission noted above)

Must be able to carry buckets & ladders around house perimeter (a full 5-gal bucket of water weighs approx 40 lbs)

Must be willing to work a minimum of a 4-hr block on days scheduled (not exceeding 8-hr day)

Must commit to the workdays that YOU sign up for the previous week. (you have the freedom to choose the days you want to work but you must commit to the days you choose. Customers don’t appreciate no-shows! Illness & emergencies are understandable)

Must be willing to work outdoors in adverse conditions such as colder winter months and hot summer months (note: we do not schedule window cleaning when temperatures are below freezing)

Work is seasonal. Employees must be willing to expect days off when work is limited. Late summer July end to early Sept tend to slow down slightly. January thru early March, window cleaning is almost non-existent. Busiest time for window cleaning is April-July and Sept-Dec. Scheduled work days are subject to last minute rain forecast cancellation.
